Who is the Just Born Photography Session For?

Starting an hour after delivery, I devote two hours of capturing your postpartum moments.

As a birth and baby photographer in Bryan College Station, Texas, I'm honored to capture those special moments as your family expands. If you're a new mom who wants to remember every detail of your baby's first hours but doesn't want to have the birth photographed, a "Just Born" session is the perfect choice for you.

Your Labor Starts

Here's how it works: As soon as you go into labor, send me a quick text to let me know. It's always a good idea to delegate this responsibility to your support person, so you can focus on the task at hand and enjoy the experience. When baby arrives, you'll let me know within about 20 minutes so I can prepare to capture those perfect moments.

Arrival to Your Room

Once I get the go-ahead from you, I'll make my way to your location, arriving an hour after your baby's birth. During the session, I'll capture a range of intimate moments. From nursing and the first measurements to skin-to-skin with Dad, a herbal bath or even a photo with your birth team, I'll document all the details that make your baby's arrival so special.

 My Commitment to Your Safety & Comfort

I want to be as unobtrusive as possible during this special time. I follow all health and safety protocols of your hospital or birthing center. I remain a spectator, capturing sweet moments with my camera to give you and your family space to relax, interact, and love on your newborn baby.

And I follow all of your requests while in this space with you, from the type of photos you want captured to the level of interaction and other asks that you have made of me. I’m grateful to be able to preserve this moment for you through professional newborn hospital photography.
