Can you believe that school is almost out in College Station? I know the kiddos are ready for summer, but are you, mom and dad?!

I decided to help you out by putting together a list of family friendly places to visit this summer!

In Bryan/College Station:

Children’s Museum of The Brazos Valley

The Children’s Museum of The Brazos Valley JUST opened their new location at Lake Walk in April! The museum features a variety of exhibits where kids can role-play different jobs, problem solve, build communication skills, engage in hands on science and engineering activities, build fine and gross motor skills, and learn about different planets.

Open Tuesday - Sunday

Admission Fees: Babies - FREE, Children (1-14) - $10 , Adult - $4

Yearly Memberships: $80/ 2 members, $100/ 4 members, $150/ 6 members

Play Oasis

Play Oasis is an indoor play space featuring an arts & crafts room, sensory sandbox, interactive story times, a learning center, and weekly STEM projects. Play Oasis is the perfect place for your child to develop social, emotional, language, and problem solving skills, all while having FUN!

Adamson Lagoon

Adamson Lagoon opens May 29th! The pool features an Olympic size pool, two slides, a lily pad walk, and a wading pool.

Smarty Sprouts

Smarty Sprouts is an indoor playground featuring a 3 level play structure, science wall, ball pit, and so many fun activities that encourage learning through play.

Smarty Sprouts Kids' Club - Indoor Playground (smartysproutskidsclub.com)

U Paint it

U Paint it is a paint your own pottery studio. After painting, they will glaze and fire your piece and have it ready for pick up within 6 days.

Jumping World

Jumping world has tumbling lanes, supreme dodgeball, and a ninja warrior course for the big kids, and a jungle gym and toddler area for the littler ones. They also have deals on Safe 2 Save, so check that out!

Grand Station

Grand Station features bowling, a full arcade, laser tag, mini golf, a bar, and axe throwing. There’s something for everyone!

Fun for All Playground + Splashpad at Central Park

The Fun for All Playground is just that… fun! And free! It features a playground that is accessible for individuals with varying needs. You’ll find a large splashpad, several swing sets, a large climbing area, a synthetic turf field, a sensory maze, a musical play area, and lots more.

Near Bryan/College Station:

Washington on the Brazos

Washington on the Brazos is just about 35 minutes from College Station. It is the site of the signing of the Texas Declaration of Independence. It features The Star of the Republic Museum, Barrington Living History Farm, and Independence Hall, as well as a beautiful setting for picnicking and sightseeing.

Visitor Center is open daily from 9:30AM - 5PM

Horseshoe Junction

Located in Brenham, Horseshoe Junction is a about 45 miles from College Station. It features go karts, lazer tag, mini golf, bumper boats, a rock wall, an arcade, and a kid zone for kids ages 2-8.

Silver Wings Ballroom

Silver Wings is a family fun roller rink located in Brenham.

Aggieland Safari

Located in Bryan, Aggieland Safari is a 250 acre drive-thru safari featuring hundreds of animals. There is also an adventure zoo, pavilion, play area, and gift shop.
